Good news from the trumpet section

Our happiest congratulations and best wishes go out to Jacob Straus (trumpet) and his wife Sarah, who are the proud parents of a new baby boy born Monday, April 11. Benjamin weighed in at 9 lb 4 oz and is 21 inches long. Everybody -- including Benjamin's sister Lily, age 3 -- is healthy and doing fine. Jake says he hopes to be back at band in the fall.
