Rockville Musical Theater Performs 'Evita' in July

Amanda McCurry will be playing in the pit orchestra for Rockville Musical Theater’s production of Evita.  Performances are July 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 at 8:00 pm, and July 18, 25 at 2:00 pm, at the Fitzgerald Theater in Rockville.

Bethesda Little Theater Performs in June

American Music", June 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda.

Village Jazz Band Performs - June 12, July 11

The Village Jazz Band (Norm Berk's Dixieland band) will be playing 

1)  Saturday, June 12, 12:00 - 3:30 PM at the Everedy Square/Shab Row street fair, 100 N. East St., Frederick, MD (in front of the Frederick Coffee Company).

2)  Sunday, July 11, 12:00 PM - 1:45 PM at the Reston Festival, Reston Town Center, Reston, VA.

Perry Conticchio's Jazz Trio - Sundays at Roy's Place

Perry Conticchio's jazz trio will start a Sunday evening engagement at Roy's Place in Gaithersburg (7-10pm). The trio becomes a quartet on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend to initiate the 5th annual jazz jam session at Roy's (Sundays, 7-10 pm) which continues through Labor Day weekend--bring your axe and get your jazz chops in shape!  Our band's Paul Nisson is a member of the trio.

"Forever Plaid" - April 9 - 25

Ric Okin will be playing for Rockville Music Theater's production of "Forever Plaid". Performances are at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn in the Kentlands and are on weekends (Friday & Saturday nights, Sunday matinees), April 9 – 25.

"Dancing with the Czars" - March 19 - April 10

Ric Okin will be playing in the orchestra for nine performances of Hexagon 2010, "Dancing With the Czars", Hexagon is "Washington's only original political satirical musical comedy revue" and is observing its 55th year. Performances are Wednesday evenings through Sunday afternoons, March 19 - April 10, and will be at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Performing Arts Center, 7995 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring.  Location, directions, parking, ticket information, etc. are available at www.hexagon.org or 202-333-SHOW(7469).

Symphony of the Potomac performs Nov 15
